The residual of the power plant is a product with a very low density. Therefore, an 8×4 configuration, with a payload of 40 tonnes, was the best fit for this job. Jac Rijk chose the pusher for safety, the widespread with the last angle that steers, for less pressure on the chassis (less wear and tear on the tyres). They achieve high productivity figures in combination with low fuel consumption. That is why, on this particular project, this is the right configuration. Besides, the drivers praise the maneuverability and high comfort of the trucks.
