Two new BAS Mining 8x4 frontcilinder tippers were delivered to Thyssen Krupp last week. These is already the third and fourth BAS Mining tippers that Thyssen adds to their fleet. The trucks haul various materials such as slag, slag sand (very fine and sharp material), coal, materials that come from the inside of steel torpedos and pots that are used in the production of steel over a distance of 500-2000 meters.
Thyssen Krupp Mill Services uses the trucks in a very abbrasive atmosphere and they will be in operation 24/7, 365 days per year transporting approximately 30 loads per shift.

The BAS Mining 10x4 tipper runs 24/7 and maintenance and repair will be caried out on site Vicats’ own workshop. Parts are delivered by the local Volvo truckdealer in Lyon. We wish them many pleasant working hours with their new BAS Mining trucks!...
